In brief: MasterGantt is proprietary software. You may use it freely (Free edition) or with a purchased Pro license. You may not redistribute it, resell it, or extract its source code. The license holder's name displayed in the interface is protected by a cryptographic signature.
1. Definitions
"Software" means MasterGantt, distributed as a standalone HTML file, including all source code, obfuscated code, styles, assets, and associated documentation.
"Publisher" means 1974Corp, the exclusive owner of MasterGantt.
"You" means any individual or legal entity that downloads, installs, or uses the Software.
"License" means the cryptographically signed JSON file that activates the Pro edition.
2. Free Edition — Granted Rights
The Free edition is granted at no cost, for an unlimited duration, for:
- Personal, non-profit, or professional use on your own projects.
- Local installation on as many devices as you wish (personal use or within a single legal entity).
- Use in educational settings (schools, universities, trainers).
3. Pro Edition — Granted Rights
Purchasing a Pro License grants you, in addition to Free rights:
- Access to Pro features as defined on the commercial page at the time of purchase.
- A perpetual, named, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license.
- The right to deploy the Software on a server internal to your organization.
4. Restrictions — Prohibited Actions
Regardless of the edition used, the following are prohibited:
- Redistributing the Software, for free or for a fee, in any form.
- Decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to extract source code from the obfuscated file.
- Modifying or removing copyright notices, license mentions, or the license holder's name displayed in the interface.
- Circumventing the license protection mechanisms (ECDSA P-256 signature, watermarks).
- Creating derivative works intended to compete commercially with MasterGantt.
- Using the Software to offer a SaaS service to third parties without prior written consent from the Publisher.
5. Intellectual Property
MasterGantt and all its components (code, design, architecture, documentation) are and remain the exclusive property of 1974Corp, protected by French copyright law and international intellectual property conventions.
This license transfers no ownership rights in the Software to you. You acquire only a limited right of use under the conditions described herein.
6. License Integrity
Each Pro License is signed with an ECDSA P-256 key held exclusively by 1974Corp. Any attempt to forge or generate an unauthorized license constitutes a violation of this agreement and may result in criminal liability.
The license holder's name is visibly displayed in the user interface. Any modification or removal of this display constitutes a violation of the license terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The Publisher does not warrant that the Software will meet your specific requirements or that it will operate without interruption or error.
Under no circumstances shall the Publisher be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software.
8. Termination
This license terminates automatically and without notice upon breach of any of its terms. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.
9. Governing Law
This license is governed by French law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation or performance shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Grenoble, France, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
